Join us for the 18th annual Race the Lake—an epic 89-mile cycling adventure around the breathtaking Lake Winnebago that’s perfect for everyone, from pro cyclists to first-timers! This isn’t just a ride; it’s a celebration of stunning scenery and pure pedal-powered joy. The excitement kicks off at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, where you’ll set out northward along the lake’s western edge. Picture yourself rolling through vibrant towns like Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha, and Appleton, with the shimmering water beside you, until you reach the halfway mark at High Cliff State Park. Then, swing down the east shoreline, where sprawling greenery, the massive blue expanse of the lake, and crisp country air fuel your ride. You’ll pass through charming spots like Calumetville, Marytown, and St. Peter before powering back to the finish line at Lakeside Park (158 E. Harbor Drive) in Fond du Lac. Event Information

Bottle Exchange- This is where you can exchange your empty water bottle for a full one. Please bring an old water bottle that will be thrown away between the drop zone signs.

Bottle exchange at High Cliff State Park (Water/Gatorade) and at Marytown(Water).

SUPPORT VEHICLES- will be provided along the course. However, they do not carry all tubes, so make sure you have extras tubes with you.

REST STOPS- You can rest (or pass by) these stops. There will be Gatorade, Water, Ice, Food, Sun block, Vaseline and Medical Supplies: First Rest Stop: Oshkosh, approx. Mile 20

Second Rest Stop: Neenah, approx. Mile 32

Third Rest Stop: High Cliff, approx. Mile 46

Fourth Rest Stop: Lakeshore Dr., approx. Mile 60

Fifth Rest Stop: Marytown, approx. Mile 70

Sixth Rest Stop: Stenz, approx MIle 81

LET THE PARTY BEGIN!!! The post-party includes a full meal: pork sandwiches, rice and beans, fruit, chips, sweets, soda, and beer.

Waves

Waves or group start is just a way of spreading out the start of the event to avoid congestion. You are no way limited to stay at any certain pace.

Event Rules

Only cyclists with an official race bib worn on the left side are allowed on the race course. Course will be monitored by race officials.

Disqualification issued for:

1. Crossing the center line.

2. Not wearing a helmet or bib on the left side of your jersey.

3. When riding two or more abreast and vehicles are trying to pass, move to the right to allow traffic to flow smoothly.

4. Using any sound devices.

5. Aero bars can be on your bike in wave 5 or higher (wave 5-12) but you can't drop down on them.

6. You can pick up a registration packet for another person. This is okay to do.
